I study the role and the organization of emotionally-laden personal and social representations such as episodic memories on psychological well-being and adaptation. I study these processes and their effect through various social structures, such as romantic relationships, interpersonal relationships, work, family and social groups. My research is based on humanistic (self-determination theory), sociocognitive, and psychodynamic theories.
